COMMUNITY of UNITY is a non-profit organization (501(c)3) that creates and implements dynamic youth development programs that awaken in children a sense of having a true, unique potential. Something about themselves that is completely theirs, totally unique, and exceptionally beautiful. The tools that we use to accomplish this awakening are the arts (drawing, painting, dancing, writing, expressive dialogue), and the formation of communities. We have found that being in a Community, which we define as a group a people who share with each other, helps children to discover things about themselves that might not become revealed if they were working alone. This is the magic of sharing. Not just sharing pencils and paper. Sharing feelings, dreams, thoughts, responsibilities, and goals.
